Synopsis:
Dylan Bishop is not having a good day. Upon moving to Toronto to pursue her dream of becoming a screenwriter, she unceremoniously has the job and apartment she has lined up yanked out from under her. Looking to her best friend Nickie for help, Nickie points her in the direction of an eccentric older woman that lives in the building who currently seeks a roommate. Settling in a new home and restarting her job search, Dylan learns to embrace her new life in all its uniqueness.
