After the critical and financial success of The Avengers, DC is finally getting their stuff together and putting together a Justice League film. The first buildup to it is Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, due next year. We’re hopping to see some of our favorite Justice League members in the Justice League film, including Green Lantern. John Stewart, not Hal Jordan. We saw how Hal Jordan went down. Thanks, but no thanks. Someone is already thinking ahead, though, and has already put their hat in the ring for Green Lantern: Tyrese.
Tyrese Gibson is a talented singer who thinks that talent transferred over to acting. He’s been in some big franchises like Transformers and The Fast and the Furious. I guess he’s ready to take on another franchise.
He’s taken to social media with his Green Lantern campaign. He’s posted pictures that depict him as Green Lantern. He is the Vision Implementer after all.
I don’t buy Tyrese as a leading comic book hero. I see him as more of a supporting character. Not everyone’s built to be the lead. I could be wrong, though.
