Laverne Cox already won our hearts playing the affable jailhouse hairdresser Sophia on Orange is the New Black, but it looks like we’ll be getting a chance to see a lot more of her.
Cox will be starring in a CBS legal drama pilot, Doubt. Doubt is centered around an Ivy League-educated lawyer who is motivated by injustices she’s suffered. Her experiences push her even further when going to bat for her clients.
If Doubt makes it to air, Cox would be the first transgendered regular character on a primetime CBS show.
