Eddie Murphy is in talks to join the Richard Pryor biopic as Richard Pryor’s father, LeRoy “Buck Carter” Pryor, a boxer and WWII veteran. Mike Epps will be playing Richard Pryor. Oprah Winfrey is also rumored to star, and the film will be directed by the Lee Daniels, the co-creator of the hit series, Empire.
