What can only be described Magic Mike in color, Chocolate City is now available on DVD. It’s definitely a film you’d want to keep out of reach of your kids. Reception to the film has been lukewarm, but I’ll let you be the judge of it.

Looks like the summer will be started off with some chocolate. If you liked Magic Mike, then you’ll probably want to check out Chocolate City, seeing as how Magic Mike was lily white. Delve into the world of stripping as our protagonist stumbles onto it as a way to make ends meet. It’s a realistic premise. The Magic Mike sequel will be released later this summer, so maybe Chocolate City will have an advantage by coming out first. Check out the synopsis and trailer below. Synopsis:

Welcome to Chocolate City, where the music is hot, the mood is magical, and the exotic male dancers are simply delicious. Women go wild as these toned, talented men make fantasies come true… and the arrival of a young, new exotic dancer (Robert Ri’chard) has the spot sizzling like never before. You hear the name Zane and you think of steamy erotic novels. Her novel Addicted is perhaps her best known work. It was made into a film last year starring Sharon Leal. The film Addicted follows her character as she embarks on a tumultuous affair with a painter.

Synopsis:
