I came across the clip found below and just had to share. Waiting to Exhale is a 1995 film starring Whitney Houston, Angela Bassett, Loretta Devine, and Lela Rochon. It was adapted from the Terry McMillan novel of the same name. It explores the friendship between four Black women as they navigate their own relationships and lives.

We know Giancarlo Esposito from a range of Spike Lee films. Then he struck fear in us all as Gus Fring in Breaking Bad. Then he took a turn as Tom Neville in Revolution. Now he will be take on the role of the abolitionist Frederick Douglass.

Esposito will star in, direct, and produce Patriotic Treason. Based on Patriotic Treason: John Brown and the Soul of America by Evan Carton, the film is about the abolitionist John Brown, who is known for his slave revolt attempt that was one of the key events leading up to the Civil War.

Patriotic Treason is expected to start filming in early summer.
