It’s been forever since Moesha was on the air, and while we’ve enjoyed Brandy on The Game, it’s about time Brandy stepped back into the leading role. And now we have that with Zoe Ever After. Zoe Ever After centers on a recent divorcee and newly single mom, Zoe Moon, who develops her own cosmetic line while balancing personal and professional lives.

Mo’ne Davis just reached her teens, and she’s already accomplished. She’s a master on the Little League field, leading the Taney Dragons into the Little League World Series. She also became the first girl to pitch a shutout. Baseball’s not her only sport. She dogged Kevin Hart out at the All-Star game. Davis is just as impressive off the field, designing a sneaker line with the proceeds going to Because I Am a Girl.

Throw Like Me will air on the Disney Channel. It is being executive produced by Emmy-nominated Debra Martin Chase. Hopefully the biopic will be just as good as its subject.
