As usual, Scandal was full of twists and turns and OMG moments, and we can expect even more this season. But in case you need a refresher course what happened last season, we got you covered. And we’ve included a trailer for Season Five.
- Olivia was kidnapped, which lasted for a few episodes.
- While kidnapped, Olivia made a series of stupid decisions, which prolonged her captivity, including offering to put herself on the auction block.
- Fitz sacrificed a number of soldiers to bring her home which failed.
- Olivia was finally saved by Stephen (from Season One).
- Olivia Popes and Associates occasionally fixes things again.
- There’s a police shooting storyline which ends differently than they do in real life., i.e. steps are made to encourage change.
- The activist from said shooting gets caught up in a scandal of his own, namely running for office and sleeping with his opponent’s wife and witnessing her murder.
- OPA tries several times to bring down Papa Pope, costing dozens of innocent people their lives.
- Jake almost dies, but didn’t.
- Olivia finally gets another Black love interest, but he turns out to be working for her father.
- Mellie runs for senator in a bid to become president later on.
- Cyrus gets married to a hooker who’s shamed by his family.
- Abby’s is in a relationship with Psycho Sally’s former aide, and they do some freaky sexual stuff.
- Huck gets back to being Huck, which means killing people.
- David still can’t win a case.
- Quinn is still annoying.
- Andrew went rogue, and a new kooky VP replaced him.
- It seemed like Fitz was turning over a new leaf until he kicked Mellie out of the White House.
- Olivia moved into the White House, but we know that can’t last long.
- Papa Pope finally ends up in jail but for how long?
